Located in the Covered Market in downtown Oxford, this cafe had a sign on the window proclaiming to be voted “best cafe in Oxford”. They sold their own beans and was pretty crowded, which are usually good signs.
They were out of drip coffee (it was late in the day) so I ordered an Americano (actually a Long Black because I wanted a small). I added a little sugar. It was too hot to drink for quite a while, but ended up being pretty tasty; once I’d gotten used to the bitterness.
